Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Mobile PRN

Location: Miami-Dade County, FL

Setting: School-Based

Schedule: Flexible PRN School-Day Hours

Anticipated Hours: Approximately 3–5 hours per week

Collaborative Therapies is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a flexible mobile PRN opportunity serving students across select Miami-Dade County school campuses.

Candidates may accept the entire Miami-Dade route or specific campuses based on availability and preferred service area.

Caseload

• Combined caseload: 3 students
• Approximately 3–5 anticipated hours per week
• Caseload may grow as additional students are identified

Hours are anticipated and may vary based on each student's IEP service minutes and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans
• Support students' functional mobility and participation within their educational environments
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Coordinate with the supervising PT and educational teams

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Reliable transportation for selected campuses
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
