Payroll Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking to add a Payroll/Data Entry Clerk to our team! You will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, and record keeping. This role will support our Payroll department to process payroll transactions for our Company.

Job Summary: processing timesheets, updating payroll records and answering employee questions about payments. Ultimately, you’ll ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time. If you have great attention to detail and outstanding analytical and numerical skills, we’d like to meet you. We process 1800+ employees weekly

Duties and Responsibilities

• Update employee information for payroll purposes
• Process and verify weekly payroll
• Collect payroll data and timesheets
• Enter verified time into payroll system with proper coding and rates
• Answer and resolve all payroll related issues timely
• Escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain and document transactions
• Process garnishment orders
• Process client invoicing and reporting
• Perform special projects and other tasks as requested
• Able to work well and communicate with other branches and departments

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous payroll experience a plus!
• Computer, math, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Valid Driver License
