Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and airway clearance procedures, including inhaled medications and ventilatory support, per physician orders
- Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status, adjust ventilator settings, and participate in weaning plans as appropriate
- Perform chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, humidification, suctioning, and related modalities as indicated
- Document patient assessments, therapy progress, and responses in the medical record; communicate clearly with the care team
- Respond to respiratory distress and participate in code/STAT events within scope of practice; contribute to rounds and care planning
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensure infection control, and assist with device setup and calibration as needed

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license and NBRC-RRT certification
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to shift requirements
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts; schedule may vary and include weekends
