Job Summary

The Director for Assisted Living (ALF) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our assisted living facility, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care and support. This includes making rounds to evaluate resident status, determining resource needs, and providing assistance in emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Makes rounds to evaluate status of residents and determine resource needs
• Obtains assistance for emergencies and assists as necessary
• Assures that caregiving practices are consistent with regulatory requirements
• Participates on committees as necessary
• Completes records and administrative reports as needed
• Maintains regular, reliable, and consistent attendance at the worksite as directed by supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and visitors
• Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel
• Identifies, reports, and documents incidents and accidents; participates in investigation of incidents/accidents as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in assisted living or related field
• Current certifications and licenses as required by state regulations
