Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opportunity at Nellas Autumn Lake. This flexible role is ideal for an SLP who enjoys providing individualized therapy and helping residents improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide skilled interventions addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active West Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply
