  • Develop technical details and resolve constructability issues.
  • Coordinate building systems, materials, specifications, and architectural details.
  • Participate in project QA/QC reviews.
  • Support permitting and agency coordination.
  • Participate in construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, field observations, and project closeout.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Architects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Job Captains, designers, and junior architectural staff.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 8–10+ years of professional architecture experience
  • CA Architectural License is required
  • Recent Healthcare (HCAI / OSHPD) project experience required, 8+ years
  • Experience with both core & shell and interior architecture strongly valued.
  • Strong technical architecture and construction documentation background.
  • Advanced Revit proficiency required.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility, life safety, detailing, construction methods, and architectural systems.
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
  • Experience producing highly detailed and coordinated construction document packages.
  • Construction administration experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and time-management skills.
