12-Month Contract with extensions likely

Pay:  $25-$28/hr W2

 

Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced Senior Retirement Operations Analyst to support an innovative retirement services initiative within a highly collaborative financial services environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong investment operations experience, retirement account knowledge, and a passion for delivering accurate, data-driven financial solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a growing retirement platform, partner with experienced industry professionals, and contribute to strategic process improvements in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze retirement plans, cash flow needs, and distribution strategies
  • Review retirement account activity and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or required actions
  • Monitor daily cash activity and support retirement distribution processes
  • Prepare and coordinate investment trade recommendations
  • Support advisor-facing teams by researching requests and providing operational guidance
  • Maintain and track client and retirement plan data with a high degree of accuracy
  • Generate reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, efficiency, and scalability
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, Investment Operations, Wealth Management Operations, Brokerage Operations, or Advisory Support
  • Strong understanding of retirement accounts, distributions, and investment operations
  • Experience reviewing financial data and supporting trade preparation activities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • FINRA SIE, Series 6, or Series 7
  • Experience with Envestnet, Next360, Pershing, or similar investment platforms
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
  • Retirement planning or retirement income strategy experience
  • Investment advisory or wealth management experience

Work Environment
