Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Institutional Capital Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, Institutional Capital Analysts:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Gain access to real institutional deal flow and paid analytical work

• Support fund managers, institutional investors, and capital allocators on live transactions

• Contribute to underwriting, diligence, valuation, and investment committee support

• Build a verified institutional deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

Senior Institutional Capital Analyst · Lead Institutional Capital Analyst · Institutional Capital Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Institutional Capital Analyst

• Rating Score: 90–100

• Pay: $150–200/hour

• Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of institutional transaction experience

Lead Institutional Capital Analyst

• Rating Score: 80–89

• Pay: $100–150/hour

• Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience supporting institutional investments, fund underwriting, or portfolio analysis

Institutional Capital Analyst / Associate

• Rating Score: 60–79

• Pay: $50–100/hour

• Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and reporting skills suited to institutional standards

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Institutional Capital Analysts may be engaged for:

Institutional Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling

• 3-statement financial models

• Institutional-grade underwriting of private companies, funds, and real assets

• Commercial real estate and infrastructure modeling

• DCF, LBO, and cash flow–based valuation models

• Sensitivity, scenario, and downside risk analysis

• Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

• Football field valuation summaries and IC-ready exhibits

Due Diligence & Capital Allocation Support

• Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support

• Commercial, operational, and financial diligence

• Risk assessment aligned with institutional investment criteria

• Investment memo, IC deck, and allocator reporting support

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

• Complete the Institutional Capital Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

• Receive category-specific approvals (Institutional Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence, IC Support)

• Get verified on the platform

• Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live institutional deal work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to institutional investors and fund sponsors within the Initio Sphere ecosystem.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Institutional Capital Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

• Platform visibility to institutional allocators

• Approved work categories

• Recommended hourly rates

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

• Provide investment advice

• Solicit securities

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, valuation, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
