Circuit Board Inspector - 1st Shift
Location: Batavia, OH
1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 3:15 PM & Friday, 6 AM - 12 PM
Off EVERY FRIDAY AT NOON!
Starting Pay Rate: $17/hr
Summary: Perform detailed inspection on all products including line inspections, and ESD monitoring.
Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:
- Recognize and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole and SMT components i.e. capacitors, resistors, transistors, IC’s etc.
- A complete understanding of the IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
- Utilize inspection-gauging equipment to meet customer and IPC standards.
- Identify and read customer supplied assembly drawing for referencing component polarity, orientation, and reference designators.
- Utilize a bill of materials to identify customer part numbers for inspection requirements and values.
- Periodic spot checks to ensure that all personnel are following ESD procedures.
- Can identify SMT and thru-hole packages including MELF’s, SOT’s, PLCC’s etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: Previous 2- 3 years’ experience necessary.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Equipment: Knowledge of and skills in the use of gauging and measuring tools.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Manual dexterity is crucial in the placement and handling of thru-hole components. Good eyesight is necessary for identifying components and their placement. Occasional light lifting will be required.
Work Environment: Job functions will be performed in and around production.
Internal Contacts: This position will interface with all areas of the manufacturing workforce and management team.
