Job Summary

Avir at Pebble Creek is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve their ability to perform daily activities, maintain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding, and functional mobility.

• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength, coordination, range of motion, balance, and functional independence.

• Assist residents with fine motor, upper-extremity, cognitive, and functional skills as appropriate.

• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist and appropriate clinical staff.
