Position Summary

EmmUcare Home Health is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide non-skilled personal care, companionship, and homemaking services in clients’ homes.

Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while receiving respectful, personalized support. If you are passionate about helping others and want to make a meaningful difference in your community, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities (may include):

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Provide companionship.
• Prepare meals.
•  Assist with daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Follow each client’s established plan of care.
• Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time.
• Observe and promptly report changes in a client’s condition or needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide certification in good standing.
• Compassionate, respectful, and professional approach to client care.
• Dependable and punctual with strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and complete required documentation.
• Willingness to complete all required employment screenings and training.

Certification Requirement

Applicants must provide proof of an active New Jersey CHHA certification in good standing before performing any duties that require CHHA certification. Employees are responsible for maintaining an active certification in good standing throughout their employment with EmmUcare Home Health.
