Job Description
Restorative CNA
$23–$25.55/hour, based on experience. Full-time Restorative CNA at The Shores, a UMC senior living community in Ocean City, NJ. 10am–6pm schedule, with weekend and holiday rotation.
As a Restorative CNA, you'll go beyond standard CNA care to help residents build and keep their independence. United Methodist Communities has been Certified as a Great Place to Work for 9 years running, with more than a century of service in New Jersey.
What You'll Do:
- Support restorative programs that promote resident independence and functional ability
- Assist with ADLs while encouraging resident participation and self-care
- Carry out restorative care plans and document progress accurately
- Provide ambulation, range-of-motion, positioning, and mobility support
- Assist with meals, transfers, and adaptive equipment use
- Watch for and report changes in resident condition or functioning
- Work with residents and the care team to reach restorative goals
What You'll Need:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current, active CNA certification in New Jersey
- 1 or more years of experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
