Founding Senior Engineer

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Founding Senior Engineer to join our team and help us build the foundation of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new technologies, designing and maintaining our systems and infrastructure, and providing technical leadership and guidance to our team.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement new technologies and features for our products and services

- Work closely with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Design and maintain our systems and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers on the team

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 3 - 8 years of experience in full-stack engineering, with a focus on backend or full-stack development

- Strong experience with at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.)

- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture

- Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL)

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies

- Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
