As a Care Aide at The Promenade at Tuxedo Place, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our seniors. About the Role:

As a Care Aide you will provide direct care to our residents in accordance with individualized service plans. You will treat each resident with dignity and respect, recognizing their individual needs and promoting their independence. Your role will also involve maintaining a home-like environment throughout our assisted living community. We also have overnight hours available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with daily living activities, such as medication management and meal preparation
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment, adhering to infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Treat each resident with dignity and respect, recognizing their individual needs and promoting their independence

Requirements:

• Current NY state license as an HHA or PCA
• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds and perform duties that require bending and lifting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with residents in a pleasant and professional manner
• 1 year of relevant experience (preferred)
