Local Pay: $42/hr | Travel Pay: $45/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Technician to provide continuous ECG monitoring, accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to critical rhythm changes in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Identify and immediately report life-threatening dysrhythmias.
• Perform EKGs with proper electrode placement.
• Respond to monitor alarms and troubleshoot telemetry equipment.
• Document rhythm changes and maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry Technician experience in a hospital setting required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Telemetry Technician Certification.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Dysrhythmia Course required.
• Strong ECG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills.
