Anticipated Hours: Approximately 5–8 hours per week

Collaborative Therapies is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide school-based physical therapy services to students in the Palm Bay, Florida area.

This is a flexible PRN opportunity ideal for a PTA looking to supplement an existing schedule while making a meaningful impact in the school setting.

Current Caseload & Schedule

• Approximately 5 students
• Approximately 5–8 anticipated hours per week
• Flexible scheduling during school-day hours
• Posting ZIP: 32905; exact service location to be confirmed
• Caseload may grow as additional students are identified

Hours are anticipated and may vary based on each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) service minutes and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement treatment plans and interventions established by the supervising PT
• Support students in improving functional mobility, strength, coordination, and participation in the educational environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Collaborate with supervising therapists, school staff, families, and other members of the educational team
• Follow applicable school, company, and professional requirements

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
