Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment primarily in outpatient settings, with additional coverage in acute inpatient areas as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to meet patient goals.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in the electronic medical record (Epic) and maintain accurate, compliant records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, therapy colleagues) to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Attend and contribute to care planning discussions; communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- On Fridays, provide approximately 4 hours of acute inpatient coverage within the defined care setting.

Requirements
- Current California Occupational Therapist license (CA OT) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in occupational therapy
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Ability to work in outpatient and acute inpatient settings as part of a travel assignment
