RN or LPN Part time on 11pm to 7am shift

Position Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment. 

Responsibilites: 

• delivering nursing care to patients 

• collecting patient data 

• making observations 

Charting behavior changes

distributing Medications

• reporting pertinent information to the care of patients

• direct and supervise other nursing staff members as needed 

• As this job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, the employee will be expected to perform other essential functions and duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in our care

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in Illinois

Current CPR certification

• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required

• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
