Inbound/Outbound Logistics Clerk

Your Day—From Dock to Delivery

It’s 8:00 AM and you’re on the floor, checking the morning’s inbound pallets. You compare packing slips and purchase orders, spot-check quantities, and note a damaged carton to report for reimbursement. By mid-morning, you’re printing labels and prepping parcels for UPS, FedEx, and USPS while staging an LTL pickup. After lunch, you’re at the forklift—replenishing stock, organizing bins, and scanning items into the system. As the day winds down, you finalize bills of lading and make sure every order queued for shipment is accurate and ready to go.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime possible)
• Pay: $17/hour
• Experience: Entry level with 1–2 years in a related setting

What You’ll Tackle

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments with accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for parcel and LTL freight.
• Count inventory and maintain organized, clearly labeled stock.
• Work with major carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL providers.
• Use basic computer skills to navigate inventory/shipping applications.
• Read and work from packing slips, BOLs, and purchase orders.
• Record and communicate damages/discrepancies for accounting and records.

Is This You?

• Recent shipping & receiving experience (required) and confidence operating a forklift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay organized in a busy warehouse.
• Background in warehouse operations—shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory—preferred.
