Job description:

Job Responsibilities include:

Servers are responsible for serving the guests and providing an excellent experience by anticipating needs and sharing unexpected delights.
Describing items on the menu including ingredients and preparation method as well as alterations to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Communicate specific orders to the kitchen and bartender with accuracy.
Work with a team to ensure seamless and flawless timing to the flow of the meal.
Clearing dishes throughout the meal to ensure comfort to the guests and maintain the flow.
Follow all Marriott brand standard steps of service including using the guests name and meeting specific time frames for each step of the meal.
Be able to execute wine service including the presentation, opening and sampling of the wine.
Perform all side work responsibilities including cleaning of work space and preparation for the next shift.
All servers are to be trained in delivering room service shifts and will be scheduled in the area.

Should have at least 1 year experience of serving in an upscale dining restaurant.

MUST have or be able to obtain a TABC Certification.
