The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.
The Nutritionist at the Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) provides health education and medical nutrition services to patients and community clients, supporting healthy lifestyle practices, chronic disease prevention, and improved health outcomes. The Nutritionist collaborates with physicians, patients, families, and community partners to provide individualized nutrition guidance, educational programming, and Medical Nutrition Therapy services in accordance with established clinical standards and referral requirements.
Responsibilities include conducting nutrition screenings, providing individual and family consultations, facilitating educational and support groups, conducting community outreach, and promoting healthy lifestyle activities. The Nutritionist maintains accurate documentation and supports reporting requirements related to patient progress, compliance, and program outcomes.

Some of the Functions Include:
- Conduct nutrition screenings and provide healthy lifestyle recommendations.
- Provide individual and parent/child nutrition consultations upon physician referral.
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy based on written dietary orders and physician referrals.
- Facilitate nutrition, wellness, and diabetes prevention education and support groups.
- Conduct community outreach and education related to nutrition and chronic disease prevention.
- Recruit and engage patients and community members in healthy lifestyle programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient and client documentation in the EHR or designated system.
- Prepare reports on patient progress, compliance, participation, and program outcomes.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Appropriate professional licensure and/or certification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of nutrition education experience.
- Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle

- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet program requirements.
