Compensation: $65,000–$90,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus

Lead architectural projects for national brands from concept through construction.

PSA Architects is a full-service architectural and engineering firm serving clients across the United States. Our multidisciplinary team provides architectural design, engineering, interior design, brand development, project development, and national brand rollout services. We are looking for an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead commercial projects and help translate client and brand requirements into successful, buildable designs. This is a hands-on position for someone who can manage projects independently while remaining closely involved with design development, documentation, consultant coordination, and execution.

The ideal candidate brings experience managing multi-location or national-brand architectural projects, understands the technical side of commercial architecture, and is comfortable taking ownership of multiple projects and priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Manage architectural projects from initial programming and design through construction documentation and project completion.
• Serve as a key point of coordination between clients, internal design teams, consultants, engineers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Interpret and implement national brand standards and design-intent manuals across multiple project locations.
• Develop preliminary plans, schematic designs, design-development packages, and construction documents.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, interior design, signage, and other project elements into a cohesive design.
• Produce and oversee construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Review drawings and project documentation for accuracy, quality, code compliance, and consistency with client standards.
• Apply knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, construction methods, materials, and building systems throughout the design process.
• Coordinate tenant-finish packages, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, interior elevations, millwork details, and related documentation.
• Research and coordinate materials and products for project specifications.
• Provide direction and quality control to team members assisting with drawings and project documentation.
• Communicate project requirements, priorities, and deliverables clearly across multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform field verification and site visits as required.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of architectural experience, preferably within commercial architecture.
• Demonstrated experience managing architectural projects with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience working with national brands, multi-site programs, or repeat-client/brand rollout projects strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction documents, detailing, building codes, zoning requirements, and construction methods.
• Experience with tenant-finish and commercial interior projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape or similar visualization software, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
• Ability to independently organize projects, solve problems, and drive work forward.
• Strong client communication and project coordination skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with internal team members and outside consultants.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
• Architectural licensure is not required for this position. The survey does not identify any required certification or license.
