Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques.
- Instruct and guide patients through functional activities, such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities.
- Monitor patient progress and assist in adapting plans of care in coordination with supervising therapists.
- Work under minimal supervision and may mentor and train staff on technical skills as directed.
- Ensure patient safety, documentation accuracy, and adherence to care plans; participate in team communication and care coordination.
- This position is represented by UFCW.

Requirements
- Ability to perform physical therapy interventions in an LTAC setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient and team interactions
- Capacity to work under supervision and follow established treatment protocols
- Willingness to mentor staff and contribute to ongoing staff education as needed
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and flexibility to meet shift requirements
