About this job
Location: Salina, KS
Greeneye Technology was founded in 2017 with the mission to dramatically reduce chemical usage while increasing productivity and profitability for farmers. Now a global leader in AI-powered targeted spraying systems, the company's retrofit technology enables growers to reduce non-residual herbicide use by an average of 80–90% while maintaining effective weed control. Greeneye’s Technology’s system helps farmers lower input costs, improve operational efficiency, and support more sustainable crop production.
As we rapidly expand across North America, we’re building the infrastructure required to support a growing customer base and dealer network.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader to build and lead our first North American Operations Center.
This is not a traditional operations management position - We’re looking for a builder.
As the North America Operations Site Leader, you will be responsible for establishing and leading Greeneye’s U.S. operations facility. This site will serve as the hub for inventory management, sub-assembly, machine installations, quality assurance, product testing, dealer training, and future operational expansion.
You will be required to be a true player-coach, leading by example, performing installations alongside the team, solving problems on the shop floor, and building scalable processes from the ground up. As the organization grows, you’ll recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team while continuing to drive operational excellence.
This is a unique opportunity to design the future operating model of one of agriculture’s fastest-growing technology companies.
Build Greeneye’s North American Operations Center
● Lead the startup and day-to-day operation of Greeneye’s U.S. facility
● Design efficient workflows for inventory, assembly, installations, testing, and shipping
● Develop scalable operating procedures that support rapid company growth
● Help define facility layout, tooling, equipment needs, and future expansion
Assembly & Installation Leadership
● Perform hands-on assembly and installation of Greeneye systems
● Lead installation teams while continuously improving installation efficiency
● Develop standardized work instructions and installation playbooks
● Reduce installation time while improving consistency and quality
Quality & Continuous Improvement
● Establish a comprehensive quality management system for assembly and installation
● Develop inspection, testing, and validation procedures before customer delivery
● Analyze field issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
● Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles
Inventory & Supply Chain
● Manage inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
● Coordinate inbound materials and outbound shipments
● Partner with Procurement to improve supplier quality and reduce costs
● Optimize inventory levels to support customer demand
Team Leadership
● Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of assemblers and technicians
● Foster a culture centered on teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement
● Coach employees while remaining actively involved in daily operations
● Create clear performance expectations and development plans
Dealer Enablement
● Develop installation training programs for Greeneye dealers
● Build installation manuals, quality standards, and certification processes
● Create a scalable installation playbook that enables dealer-led installations throughout North America
Within your first 6–12 months, you will have:
● Successfully launched Greeneye’s North American Operations Center
● Built and developed a high-performing operations team
● Established standardized installation and quality procedures
● Improved installation efficiency while reducing field issues
● Developed dealer installation training and certification programs
● Built the operational foundation required to support rapid commercial growth
● 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, agricultural equipment, operations, or related industries
● Experience building teams and operational processes in a fast-growing environment
● Strong mechanical aptitude with experience assembling or servicing complex equipment
● Demonstrated success leading Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives
● Experience with inventory management and production planning
● Passion for coaching and developing people
● Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly
● Agricultural equipment or heavy machinery
● Precision agriculture technologies
● Manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering
● Quality management systems
● Facility startup or greenfield operations
● ERP and inventory management systems
We’re looking for someone who leads from the floor—not from behind a desk.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems alongside their team, and building processes that make work safer, simpler, and more efficient. You take pride in developing people, improving systems, and creating a culture where quality, accountability, and continuous improvement are simply “how we work".
This role offers a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll help define how Greeneye assembles, installs, supports, and scales its technology across North America while working alongside an innovative global team transforming the future of agriculture.
If you’re energized by building teams, improving processes, and creating lasting impact, we’d love to talk.
