Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Interventional Radiology setting
- Uses Epic EMR
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a rotating day off
- Call required
- Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP/Impella insertion, pacemaker insertion, and vascular studies
- Utilizes fluoroscopy and Siemens imaging equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- ARRT-R or RCIS certification required
- State license required if applicable (only required for ARRT-R, not RCIS)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Proficiency in vascular access, angioplasty, stent placement, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Experience with equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and infection control practices
- State-issued ID, SSN, and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, scrubbing/maintaining sterile field, and stocking supplies
- Recognizes and responds to life-threatening arrhythmias and utilizes rapid response/code teams as needed
- Scrubs provided
- Local candidates within 90 miles are accepted at a lower bill rate
- RTO limited to 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request approved during Nov-Jan
