Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ years of recent experience, HCHB and OASIS proficiency, and license in hand.
Details
- Home Health setting treating geriatric patients
- Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with optional weekends
- On-call rotation required every 6th weekend
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
- Uses HCHB (Homecare Homebase) for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health experience required
- OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC) documentation
- Proficiency in HCHB charting system required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Active driver's license and personal transportation required
- Timely documentation and communication required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include timely documentation and consistent communication with the care team
- Monday orientation includes completion of billable training modules
- Dress code is scrubs of any color, no jeans permitted
- iPad provided; personal cell phone use not permitted
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Locals are not accepted for this position
- Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation
- Former Compassus employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
