We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions designed to improve functional independence, daily living skills, mobility, coordination, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to improve strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional abilities.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment, compensatory techniques, and safety strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment, home programs, and strategies to promote independence.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional treatment environment.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current OT license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
