Tri-Rivers Career Center Adult Education is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor to support students in our LPN to RN Program.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who wants to help prepare the next generation of nurses while continuing to make an impact in healthcare. The Clinical Nursing Instructor will supervise students in clinical settings, help connect classroom learning to patient care, and provide coaching and feedback as students develop their nursing skills.
Supervise nursing students during assigned clinical experiences
Help students apply classroom knowledge in real-world patient care settings
Promote safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing practice
Evaluate student performance using established clinical objectives and evaluation tools
Provide timely coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback
Maintain student attendance, clinical documentation, and evaluation records
Communicate student progress and concerns with the Program Administrator
Ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing requirements, program policies, and clinical agency expectations
Serve as a professional role model for students
Collaborate with healthcare partners to provide high-quality clinical learning experiences
Participate in faculty meetings, orientation, and professional development as assigned
Position Details
Employment: Part-Time
Work Year: Up to 1,300 hours
Starting Date: October or November 2026
Compensation: Determined in accordance with Tri-Rivers Career Center Board of Education policies and/or part-time faculty rate scales.

Completion of an approved professional nursing education program
At least two years of experience practicing as a Registered Nurse
Current, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Compensation details: 30-38 Hourly Wage
