Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, prehistoric sand dunes in central Wisconsin. The Dishwasher is responsible for washing, cleaning and proper storage of all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware and glassware.  Responsibilities also include keeping all kitchen, storage, and receiving areas clean and organized.

• Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas.
• Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Clean dish machine after each meal period.
• Assist in food preparation, putting away deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers and storage rooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as appropriate.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school education preferred.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated quality verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including the restaurant/lounge and on-course areas. Team members may be exposed to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, moving equipment, cleaning materials, and varying weather conditions. Adhering to safety protocols is essential to prevent injuries from environmental and equipment hazards.
