Machine Operator - Manufacturing

Connect Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a metal and steel pipe fabrication manufacturer in Stanton, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $17/hr. In this role, you will assist with operating pipe fabrication machinery, inspect parts using measurement instruments, manual loading, unloading, and staging warehouse items. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday with consistent hours.

Pay: $17/hr..

Schedule: Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Sat 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate custom pipe fabrication machinery at dedicated machine stations throughout a large manufacturing facility with paint chemical fumes present.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using designated measurement instruments.
• Perform periodic equipment checks and troubleshoot machine issues as they come up.
• Stage, stack, and organize warehouse items in assigned locations.
• Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, pipe manufacturing, or steel processing.
• Familiarity with pipe-cutting, bending, or threading machinery.
• Ability to read and follow basic work orders, blueprints, or production specs.
• Experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable working outdoors, and in environments with strong paint or chemical odors.
• Experience using measurement instruments such as calipers, tape measures, or gauges to verify part quality.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and stage material up to 50 lbs.

• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass E-Verify (Employment Eligibility Verification).
