Recovery Housing Technician

The Recovery Housing Technician supports program participants by helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive recovery housing environment. This role focuses on resident safety, wellness, accountability, and day-to-day support. Experience in substance use recovery is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor resident safety, behavior, and overall well-being
• Conduct daily property and safety checks
• Orient new residents to house rules, expectations, and policies
• Complete daily resident check-ins and weekly meetings as needed
• Monitor for contraband and ensure a clean, substance-free environment
• Document incidents and concerns within required timeframes
• Support residents with grievances and recovery planning
• Provide transportation for new intakes and as directed
• Communicate concerns to leadership and assist with emergencies

• Follow ethical standards and program policies
• Maintain professionalism, boundaries, empathy, and consistency

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required 
• Experience in recovery housing, behavioral health, or residential settings preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis-management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
