Part-Time Job Coach (Evenings & Every Other Weekend) – Detroit Lakes, MN

Wage: starting wage $18 - $20 / hour, Depending on Experience

Hours: Evenings, 10 - 15 Hours per week

We work collaboratively as a team to create meaningful change; and we’re looking for someone like you to join us!

We are currently seeking part-time Job Coaches in the Detroit Lakes area for approximately 10 - 15 hours a week. Hours would be approximately 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm. (weekdays and every other weekend)

What You’ll Do:

As a Job Coach, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities succeed in their community-based employment. You’ll provide on-the-job training, support, and coaching to help them build independence, meet work expectations, and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals at their job sites through hands-on job coaching and skill-building
• Help participants transfer skills across different work environments
• Assist in meeting production expectations during the training period
• Maintain strong communication with employers, families, and team members
• Collaborate with employers to modify or restructure job tasks when needed
• Conduct scheduled follow-ups to ensure long-term job success
• Encourage development of workplace social skills, self-awareness, and confidence
• Serve as a positive role model in both professional and social settings

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a personal vehicle (must be able to transport up to three individuals)
• Proficient in English (additional languages a plus)
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to new environments
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
• Must meet state/county licensing and pass background screening
