Retail Associate

America's Antique Mall is hiring energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Associates to join our Highland team. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

America's Antique Mall is a unique retail marketplace featuring hundreds of independent vendors and small-business owners. We are committed to excellent customer service and a positive, team-oriented work environment.

The Retail Associate assists shoppers and vendors, operates the register, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in an active retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional service to shoppers and vendors
• Greet shoppers and assist with questions
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
• Follow cash-handling and register procedures
• Assist with vendor questions and refer concerns to management when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store
• Keep checkout and common areas orderly
• Communicate important information to store leadership
• Work cooperatively with other team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer-service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and certain holidays
• Ability to remain active for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
