Material Handler

The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting print production, packaging, shipping, inventory management, and quality control operations within a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for preparing printed materials for shipment, supporting print-finishing activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all products meet quality standards.

Location: Augusta, GA
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: M-F | 8AM-4:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing

• Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production instructions.

• Package, label, and prepare printed materials for shipment.

• Utilize FedEx shipping software to create shipping labels and process outgoing shipments.

• Organize, stage, and move materials throughout the production facility.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.

• Support print-finishing operations, including folding, binding, laminating, packaging, and assembly.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.

• Assist with general warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production support activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, shipping, receiving, or production environments preferred, but not required.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing 20-40 pounds.

• Perform repetitive movements including bending, reaching, walking, pushing, and pulling.
