Job Summary

MEMCO is seeking a dependable Concrete Saw Helper for a four-week construction project in Bay City, Texas. The employee will assist a concrete saw technician by operating a wet vacuum and removing water and concrete slurry from the work area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a wet vacuum behind the concrete saw technician.
• Collect water, dust, and concrete slurry produced during cutting.
• Empty and clean the wet vacuum as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Move equipment and materials as directed.
• Follow instructions provided by the concrete saw technician and jobsite supervisor.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be dependable and report to work on time.
• Must be comfortable working around concrete-cutting equipment, water, dust, and construction noise.
• Must be able to perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, carry, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions and safety procedures.
• Construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
