Paint of WNY is looking for an experienced Commercial Painting Crew Leader to oversee painting crews on commercial and industrial projects. This position is ideal for a skilled painter who can lead by example, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commercial painting crews on active job sites
• Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to team members
• Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders
• Train and mentor painters on proper techniques and safety procedures
• Conduct surface preparation, painting, coating, and finishing work as needed
• Monitor job progress and communicate updates to project management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Track labor, materials, and equipment usage

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial painting experience
• Previous crew leader, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of commercial painting systems, coatings, and surface preparation methods
• Experience with brush, roll, spray, and specialty coating applications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications
• OSHA and safety knowledge preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
