Full Time | Year-Round Position

Pay: $18-$20/hour
based on experience

What will I do as a Maintenance Technician with Genacross?

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across housing sites, including plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, drywall, minor construction, landscaping, trash removal, and groundskeeping
• Complete maintenance work orders promptly, with a goal of completion within 72 hours
• Prepare and turn over apartments within established timelines to support occupancy and move-in readiness
• Maintain building, grounds, equipment, and required maintenance logs in accordance with applicable safety, regulatory, and funding requirements
• Coordinate with site leadership, vendors, and contractors to support repairs, maintenance projects, purchasing, and property needs
• Provide responsive, resident-focused service while partnering with Site Managers and Service Coordinators to address and appropriately refer resident concerns

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, groundskeeping, or related experience
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to travel regionally between Genacross sites
• Availability to participate in weekday and occasional weekend on-call coverage
