Openwork is hiring a dependable General Laborer Manufacturing for a manufacturing company in Stafford, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting a facility relocation project, including cleanup, organization, material movement, and general labor duties.
The initial assignment is expected to last several days to a few weeks, with the potential to become a long-term or permanent opportunity based on performance and company needs. Pay: $16.00 per hour or higher, based on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:30 AM3:00 PM
Overtime: Must be available as needed based on company needs
Assignment: Short-Term Project | Potential for Long-Term/Permanent Opportunity
- Assist with cleanup and housekeeping during the facility relocation
- Move, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Help relocate equipment and supplies between designated work areas
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Organize production, storage, and work areas
- Perform general warehouse and manufacturing support duties
- Assist with basic material handling and production tasks
- Use basic hand and power tools when assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist other departments as business needs change
- Follow all work instructions and company safety procedures
- 1+ year of general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, production, moving, or material-handling experience
- Basic experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with different tasks
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
- $16.00 per hour or higher, based on experience
