Child Center is located right off Route 20 in Sudbury and on the border of Marlborough and Framingham. Our center is situated on a 5-acre campus and is great for people who enjoy the outdoors. Here at WoodsEdge we believe children learn through play, discovery, and exploration. Currently, we are searching for teacher for all age groups (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool) who share the same values as us.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with peers to create and implement a rich childhood development program to meet the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of each child.
- Be engaged with our community of teachers and parents to provide a safe environment for all.
- Communicate with parents about the day-to-day activities of their child.
- Encourage the curiosity of each child.
- Can attend 1 staff meeting monthly after school hours.
Required Qualifications:
- EEC Certification Teacher or Lead Teacher Only.
- Child Development Associate Certificate (preferred)
- 2+ years previous childcare experience.
- Patient and reliable.
- Strong communicator with children, staff, and parents.
- Can work collaboratively with others.
- Caring and compassionate attitude.
- CORI, SORI and DCF background check.
