Responsibilities:

Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing.

Qualifications:Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year Phlebotomist experience Preferred
• Experience in a hospital Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHEL - Phlebotomy Trained Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on-the-job training or through a phlebotomy program Preferred
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
