Position Summary:

Responsible for safely transporting guests and staff between resort locations and parking areas in a large shuttle bus. Provides friendly customer service, assists with loading and unloading ski equipment, and ensures timely shuttle operations in varying weather conditions. Must have a valid Class B driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate large passenger vehicles in snowy terrain.

Available to work weekends and Holidays required. Must be able to pass DOT medical physical and drug screen.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Operate shuttle vehicles to transport guests and employees safely between resort facilities, parking lots, and lodging areas, often in snowy or icy conditions.
  • Provide courteous and helpful service to passengers, including answering questions, assisting with luggage or ski equipment, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Perform routine pre and post trip checks on shuttle vehicles (e.g., brakes, tires, lights) and report any maintenance needs to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to maintain timely pick-up and drop-off services, adjusting for weather or traffic conditions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays, and communicate effectively with dispatch or resort management.
  • Must be well versed in all federal and state traffic laws.
  • Should be able to install tire chains in snowy and icy conditions.


Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - Class “B” driver’s license with airbrake and passenger endorsement.

Technical - None

Physical Capabilities - Able to lift at least 30lbs and walk on slippery surfaces safely.

Additional - Must be able to clearly speak over the two-way radio. Must be able to pass CDL medical physical and drug screen.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - High school or equivalent

Minimum time in related position - Preferred one-year experience
