Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Pediatrics (PT PEDS) position located in an acute care hospital setting. This assignment involves providing pediatric therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient environments, with a focus on pediatric patient care. The position is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/18/2027, offering a comprehensive clinical experience within a Level II Trauma facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Pediatric Certification; Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist License; 1 year of experience or more in pediatric settings; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; valid state license in hand or pending.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience in inpatient and outpatient settings; experience with acute care, adaptive equipment, evaluation, gait training, pediatric assessments, and specialty beds.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have inpatient pediatric experience, competency in charting with Epic electronic medical record system, and flexibility to work some weekends (approximately 1-2 per month). Candidates should be willing to work major holidays if scheduled and adhere to facility policies regarding references and certifications.
