You've spent years learning HVAC in the real world. You've diagnosed problems, worked with customers, installed and repaired equipment, and probably helped newer technicians learn the trade along the way.

You do NOT need previous teaching experience. We provide the curriculum, classroom resources, and support to help experienced HVAC professionals become successful instructors.

What You'll Do

You'll use your real-world HVAC experience to help students develop the skills employers expect from entry-level technicians.

You'll teach and demonstrate areas such as:

• HVAC safety and proper tool use
• Electrical fundamentals and troubleshooting
• Heating systems
• Air conditioning systems
• Refrigeration principles
• Installation and service procedures
• Preventive maintenance
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
• Professionalism and expectations in the HVAC industry

You'll also coach students through hands-on lab activities and help them develop the confidence and problem-solving skills they'll need in the field.

You May Be a Great Fit If You've Worked As A:

HVAC Technician • HVAC/R Technician • HVAC Service Technician • HVAC Installer • HVAC Mechanic • Refrigeration Technician • Commercial HVAC Technician • Residential HVAC Technician • Lead Technician • Maintenance Technician

What We're Looking For

Required:

• At least 3 years of professional HVAC field experience
• Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, service, installation, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Desire to coach, mentor, and help others succeed
• Professional and dependable approach to work

Teaching experience is NOT required.

If you've ever trained a new technician, helped an apprentice, demonstrated a repair, explained why a system wasn't working, or shown a coworker a better way to complete a job, you already have experience that can translate to the classroom.

EPA certification needed and additional HVAC credentials are a plus, but not required.

We're looking for HVAC experience first.
