Bookkeeper Assistant / Administrator

We’re hiring for a Bookkeeper Assistant / Administrator for our Southeast Houston client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Bookkeeper Assistant / Administrator
• Location: Southeast Houston area
• Pay: $15–$19/hr. to start, based on experience
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire
• Description of Duties: Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Assist with payroll and quarterly payroll reporting. Scan, organize, and maintain files. Use QuickBooks Desktop Pro and QuickBooks Online. Prepare information for financial statements and client reporting. Provide general administrative support as needed
• Requirements: Previous bookkeeping, accounting assistant, or administrative experience. Strong data entry and reconciliation skills. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly. Comfortable working independently in a professional home-office environment. Career-minded and interested in long-term growth. Non-smoker preferred
