Compensation: $600 per week base salary plus commission

Position Overview

The Service Writer serves as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. You'll be responsible for understanding customer concerns, clearly communicating repair recommendations, and ensuring a smooth, professional service experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally
• Listen to and document customer concerns accurately
• Open and close repair orders in a timely manner
• Communicate recommended services and repairs clearly and confidently
• Provide accurate estimates for time and cost of repairs
• Maintain consistent follow-up with customers regarding vehicle status
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Upsell maintenance services when appropriate
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service writing or advisor experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license
