Account Executive

Riverfront Broadcasting of Iowa is seeking dynamic, results-oriented Account Executives for its Newton-Grinnell radio stations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with solid experience in building and maintaining ongoing relationships while meeting clients’ marketing objectives by selling the value of local radio and digital brands. 

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Selling radio and digital advertising.
• Successfully uncovering and closing new advertisers by utilizing marketing plans comprised of radio commercials and digital products.
• Ensuring that company initiatives are maximized.
• Participation in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Inputting client orders and copy using company provided software.
• Attaining monthly, quarterly and annual budget goals.

Requirements of this position include the following:

• A minimum two years of sales experience.
• A proven record of consistent sales growth while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
• A fully insured personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
