Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Merchandiser to support our Wine & Spirits division throughout the Tampa, FL area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and is comfortable performing physically demanding work.

The role involves merchandising products at multiple retail locations each day, including stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining product presentation. You will travel between stores using your personal vehicle and work independently while providing excellent service to our retail partners.

• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday

Days Off: Wednesday & Sunday

Typical Shift:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Approximately 50 hours per week. Start and end times may vary based on route and store needs.

Pay

• $19.00 per hour
• Full-time, approximately 50 hours per week
• Straight-time pay for all scheduled hours

What You'll Do

• Stock wine and spirits products on retail shelves.
• Assist with truck deliveries and organize backstock.
• Build and maintain attractive wine and spirits displays.
• Install promotional point-of-sale materials and pricing.
• Rotate inventory and ensure products are properly merchandised.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked shelves.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel.
• Travel to multiple retail locations throughout the day using your personal vehicle.
• Complete merchandising assignments accurately and on schedule.
• Perform other merchandising duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This is a highly physical position. Candidates must be comfortable performing manual labor and remaining active throughout the workday.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Lifting and moving several hundred cases of wine and spirits throughout the day.
• Frequently lifting and carrying products weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
• Climbing ladders to stock products on higher shelves.
• Lifting cases overhead.
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Working in stockrooms and on sales floors throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of merchandising, stocking, retail, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain required auto insurance.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
