Job Description
TradeWise Staffing Group is hiring experienced apprentices for a large-scale commercial water reclamation facility project in Holly Springs, NC. Apprentices will support the installation of underground electrical duct bank systems on commercial construction projects. This role involves installing underground PVC conduit, assisting with the placement of pull boxes and electrical vaults, supporting trenching and backfilling activities, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe jobsite. This is steady, long-term work on a multi-year build with real room to grow your skills and your pay.
Pay: $20–$24/hr (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Install underground PVC conduit according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Assist with setting pull boxes, electrical vaults, and related underground components.
- Support trenching operations, including excavation preparation and trench organization.
- Perform backfilling and compaction around installed conduit and structures as directed.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials on site.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment throughout the project.
- Follow supervisor instructions and work effectively with crew members to meet project schedules.
- Observe all company and jobsite safety procedures, including trench safety and proper equipment handling.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years' experience in underground utility, electrical, or commercial construction work preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PVC conduit installation and underground construction practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
