About the Role

The Heber Senator is hiring a Breakfast Cook to prepare and serve breakfast for our guests. Great opportunity for a college or high school student wanting to get into the hospitality or food service industry!

Schedule

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• Weekend availability required

Pay

• $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items (eggs, crepes, breakfast meats, hot and cold items, etc.) to order.
• Serve breakfast to guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Set up the breakfast area before service and break it down/clean up afterward
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and service area
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service
• Track inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
• Follow all food safety and health code guidelines
• Communicate with management about guest feedback or any issues during service

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time well during a short, fast-paced service window
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
