Medical Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, hardworking, and dependable Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing healthcare team in Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience performing phlebotomy. We are looking for a team player who is committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism
• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Provide outstanding patient care and customer service
• Educate patients regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records and EMR documentation
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with providers and staff to ensure efficient office operations

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification (preferred) or active Tennessee LPN license required
• Certified and experienced in phlebotomy
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude with a willingness to be a team player
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
